    This module educates clinicians about best practices for clinical teaching. Learners follow Emily Saunders, an experienced clinician and preceptor, and Marie Davis, an NP student, as they work together during a busy clinical day, answering questions about how to handle different situations.

    This eLearning module reviews the key health challenges facing urban underserved communities and evidence-based strategies to address them.
  • NP-TECH: Engaging Underserved Populations with Connected Health Technologies

    This eLearning module reviews connected health tools and strategies to support more frequent and continuous interactions between providers and patients, including patient portals, remote monitoring, wearables, mobile health apps, smart speakers with intelligent virtual assistants, the Internet of Medical Things and virtual reality.
  • NP-TECH: Policy and Regulatory Aspects of Telehealth Practice

    This eLearning module reviews regulatory aspects of telehealth practice, including insurance reimbursement, cross state licensing, remote prescribing, medical malpractice and fraud and abuse. It also discusses quality and safety considerations as well as patient privacy, security and informed consent.
  • NP-TECH: Reaching Underserved Populations with Telehealth

    This eLearning module reviews telehealth terminology and applications, how to conduct an effective telehealth visit, and how to integrate telehealth into clinical practice, with a focus on overcoming barriers to care for underserved populations.
