Objectives

Calculate medication dosage applying basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Estimate the actual medication dosage based on percentages, rounding decimals to the nearest tenth and hundredth, and reducing fractions to lowest terms.
Convert amounts measuring weight, volume, or mass of substance to their equivalents within the same system of units or in another system of units used in calculating medication dosage.
Solve a linear equation in order to compute the infusion rate of fluid or medication in clinical setting.
Determine the appropriate direct and indirect medication dosage proportion.
Solve mathematical problem based on a real clinical scenario of administering medication.
